London attractions for tourists are innumerable across London. Indeed, London is gradually transforming from a commercial capital of England, to a prime tourist destination. The diversity of these destinations and the variety that a tourist can choose from now guarantees that everyone is adequately catered for. You will find numerous London attractions to match your needs, regardless of your interests, age, gender, preferences and social-economic profile.

Today, you will find frequent visitors who solely come to London for the museums or for the theme parks. Other visitors, and perhaps the most significant number of modern London tourists, have a preset itinerary centered on annual concerts, shows and annual events. Then there are those who only come to London for the sights, parks and landmarks. It has now become custom to have numerous bus tours planned across the city all year round. London now offers a memorable nightlife for those who prefer spending their days shopping in some of the most competitive shopping centres in the globe.

What most tourists now recognize is that London has always had an edge for tourist attractions. Spending a day of sightseeing reveals amazing natural scenery, as you travel from one destination to the next. Your itinerary may start at the Buckingham Palace, progress to the Tower of London, not forgetting to take a moment at the London Bridge, the London Eye observation wheel and Thames River, before progressing to the Big Ben. The SEA LIFE London aquarium, Warner Bros Studio, ZSL London Zoo, and the London Dungeon will be waiting for you, to complete the day.

London Attractions, Parks, Landmarks and Museums

If you are successful to visit all these destinations for the day, which is doubtful to say the least, you will only have marked off a few destinations that London has to offer. When it comes to museums, the variety range from the art museums, science museums to history museums, with the British Museum punctuating what is just sample of places to go. Do not forget such memorable carnivals as the Notting Hill Carnival or festivals exemplified in stature by the Citadel Festival.

For the 21st century explorer, London has a million and one things to do. The unique quality of London attractions however, is that they creatively merge entertainment and leisure in a way that only the English can. From the West End through Westminster Abbey, the city is now riddled with iconic destinations none of which is less attractive than the other. Evidently, as London opens up to the emerging global village, there are thousands of places to go, things to do and attractions to see. Be advised though. Plan your calendar well before you hit the London pavement. Your time, and not the destinations available, will be limited.
