The View from the Shard is one of the most exciting attraction sites from the tallest structure in London and among the tallest landmarks in Europe. The Shard is approximately 309.6 meters high with 72 floors, a balcony view and an open-air podium for sightseeing. Architect Renzo Piano is the brains behind the construction of the structure in 2012 and its deck commonly dubbed as the ‘The View from the Shard’ was opened to the public on 1 February 2013.
The Shard’s highest viewpoints include the 68th, 69th, and 72nd floors where travellers get a 360-degree view as far as 40 miles away. The highest floors are accessible via the 44 elevators in the structure. Furthermore, there are clean and gender designated public toilets on the 68th floor.
